Things that have been inspiring me lately

​Lately, I’ve been finding inspiration in the smallest corners of my daily life—moments that might seem ordinary at first glance, but have gradually shaped my daily routine. Whether it’s a quiet walk outside, a shift in my personal style, or simply the changing of the seasons, these little sparks have encouraged me to be more intentional, mindful, and excited about the routines and choices that fill my days.
Outdoor walks have been my favorite part of my day lately. It allows me to unplug and get some movement and steps in. I will either go without headphones and bring my phone to write down my thoughts in my notes app, or I will listen to a podcast; normally, I’m listening to the Giggly Squad. I find that taking walks lets my brain wander after I’ve been focusing all day on homework or projects. I will also count it as a workout, add some Bala Bangles to my ankles or wrists, and power walk.

I know this is cliché, but looking at Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's pins and her style. I feel like I can resonate with her style. Basic pieces that are timeless. I find that my style is evolving to being able to wear clothing items over and over again, and I think she has mastered the art of doing so. I think it’s also about how you wear items with confidence, and being comfortable in them will really show for others. I think finding pieces and styles that work well for your lifestyle and your body will change the way you dress. I’m being more mindful of what I wear and what I purchase, and asking myself how I can wear each item in multiple ways and across multiple seasons.

Dressing up for the in-between moments. I think it is important to do for yourself, and a way to motivate yourself to do more on an off day or a gloomy day. I love finding a good outfit for a night out or an event, but what about a casual Friday night in or a Sunday Morning run to the grocery store? I am currently on the hunt for a couple of good staple pieces that I know will look good together, even when you barely try.

The warmer weather has also been inspiring me lately and making it a lot easier for me to find an outfit. A 70-degree day is getting me excited for summer and warm summer nights where I don’t always have to wear a jacket. But I do have to say I always love bringing a sweater with me for some reason!
Embracing these inspirations has made my days feel calmer and more me—and I’m excited to keep seeking inspiration throughout my days.
